We help with the bills around the repair, too.

Towing $50 Towing reimbursement for each covered claim authorized by the Administrator.
Verification fee $120 Up to this amount per event when the repair is authorized and done at an authorized repair facility.

From checkout to covered in four steps.

1 Choose your package Pick 2, 3 or 5 years and pay once at time of sale.
2 Pre-sale inspection Your Tesla is inspected at an authorized repair facility.
3 Drive, unlimited Coverage begins. No kilometre limit for the full term.
4 Claim with ease Covered repairs are authorized by the Administrator, with towing, verification and rental extras.

Warranty FAQs

Is there a kilometre limit?

No. Coverage runs for the full term of the package you choose, regardless of distance driven. The Administrator may ask for proof of your odometer reading at any time during the term.

Is there a deductible?

Yes, $150 per covered repair. Diagnosis is free when the repair is covered.

Is the high-voltage battery covered?

No. The high-voltage battery pack, its cells and the battery management and control modules are excluded from every package.

Can I pay monthly?

All packages are a single one-time payment, paid in full to Tesmods at time of sale. Financing, instalments and bi-weekly billing are not offered.

Which Teslas are eligible?

Teslas up to 10 years old and under 200,000 km at enrolment are welcome. 2016 model year vehicles can choose the Elite plan (5 years) only. All other model years may choose any of the three plans.

Does my car need an inspection first?

Yes. A pre-sale inspection at an authorized repair facility is required before coverage begins.

What happens when I make a claim?

Covered repairs are authorized by the Administrator and completed at an authorized repair facility. You can also be reimbursed for towing (up to $50 per claim), the verification fee (up to $120 per event) and a rental car ($25 per day, up to 7 days).
